Real Ales, Draught Ciders and Perry

At the Rising Sun we pride ourselves on the quality of the beers, ciders and perry we serve.  We are equally proud of our local brewing tradition and are pleased to consistently offer two of the finest local real ales, Rucking Mole and Yertiz.  These staples are supplemented by a guest beer.  By restricting our range to three beers we are always able to offer products in peak condition.  We take a similar approach to Ciders and Perry, stocking Black Rat consistently and supplementing this with a guest Cider or Perry.

Chestnut coloured premium ale using Maris Otter English malt and Fuggles and Goldings hops.  Fruity and malty with a smooth bitter finish.

A copper coloured triple hopped well balanced bitter, full in body and flavour.  Subtly distinguishing itself with a gentle hop aftertaste.
